Don’t worry about little people saying you changed after you put in the work. You’re not supposed to work hard just to stay the same. That doesn’t make any sense. These are just the crabs trying to keep you in the barrel. But don’t be upset with them either; they’re doing what they think is right. Sometimes they’re actually trying to help you; they’re scared if you go too far you may not be able to handle it. More often though they’re just insecure and trying to protect themselves; you leveling up makes them realize they could have done it too if they simply put in the same work you’re putting in. But to protect their own ego they just decide to break you down rather than doing the work to build themselves up. But in this world you can never forget that you don’t owe anybody anything; your life is yours.
