Get around positive, supportive people. Surround yourself around people who are doing well and want to see you do just as well or even better than they’re doing. THIS is your tribe. These are the type of people you want to be around. And even more importantly than that, you need to BE one of those people. You need to be someone who gets excited to see his friends do well. You need to be the type of person who celebrates when his brother accomplishes something. You need to see somebody else do something that you always wanted to do, and be HAPPY for them. Don’t let jealousy cloud the way you see the world. A rising tide lifts all boats; when somebody else does something amazing, it’s actually a benefit to ALL of us. There’s nothing to be envious about, there’s nothing to be jealous about; it’s a wonderful thing.
