Never doubt your beliefs. And never believe your doubts. The whole thing is mental; at the end of the day, no matter how competent you are, how talented you are, how skilled you are is not going to matter unless your mindset is where it needs to be. Your confidence is going to the biggest determining factor in your success. You can do everything right, you can have all of the tools that you need in your arsenal, all things could be a go and on your side, but if you aren’t 100% sure in what you’re doing and what you got going on, things are not going to work out in your favor. And even when you succeed at doing something you didn’t believe you could do, you can be certain that you either would have succeeded at a higher level, or it would have been much easier for you to achieve that success has your belief been in the right place. 

More than any skill you could build, more than anything you could focus on, you should concentrate on building a bulletproof level of self esteem. This will carry you further in life than anything else.  It’s the mind that determines how everything else is going to get set off in your life. The mind leads, the body follows. The body is going to be able to accomplish damn near anything that the mind tasks it to accomplish.  Nobody else can really place any legitimate limits or barriers on your ability; the only one who can do that is yourself. And that can only be done by your own mind. Your only potential conquering enemy is the limiting belief of your own mind. You are in control of everything and everything is in your control.  Let me repeat that… you are in control of everything, and everything is in your control.  

What you focus on becomes greater. Whatever you lay the magnifying glass of your mind on will expand in your life. It can actually be no other way; it’s simply the way that we are designed as human beings. There is nothing more powerful than the mental. There is nothing more overpowering than the mental either. That means if you believe in something, if you are set on something, it is absolutely all in your control. It’s all in your mind’s eye. As a man thinketh…

Keep this in mind. The power is yours. Completely.
