You’ve got to be real with yourself. The last thing you want to do is be delusional about your capabilities. And even more than that, one of the worst things you can do is walk around thinking you’re one type of person, acting like you want one thing, and the whole time you really want something completely different. That’s definitely hustling backwards. That’s definitely putting yourself in a position. They you don’t want to be in. 

There is no future in fronting. There is no point in lying to yourself. There is no gain in pretending that you want one thing, acting like you want to live one type of life, then putting in the work that is required to live that type of life, and then end up in a situation where you have worked your ass off for something that you didn’t even really want in the first place. This is just you setting yourself up to resent whatever it is that you ACTUALLY have, and at the end of the day you can’t even really be mad at anybody but yourself. YOU are the one who put you in the position you didn’t want to be in.  YOU are be one who set yourself up for failure.
