Procrastinating isn’t going to hurt anyone but yourself. You not putting in your best effort is not going to harm anyone else as much as it is going to harm you. You don’t even need to consider the outside world when you choose to do or not do. It’s not even necessary to. If you do wrong you are harming yourself. 

The punishment for the liar is that he can never believe anyone else. The punishment for the thief is that he believes everyone else is stealing from him. The punishment for the wicked is that he is always looking over his shoulder for that same wickedness to turn back towards him. Doing wrong is its own punishment. You will become the victim of your own negative behaviors.
